Turnkey Moving was founded after one simple realization: most moving companies forget they are handling people's lives, not just their furniture.

After growing up across Scarborough, Markham, and Durham Region and completing more than a dozen personal moves, our founder saw firsthand how stressful and unreliable moving services could be. What started as a career in real estate over a decade ago quickly expanded into property investing, home flipping, Airbnb setups, and development projects.

During those years, one thing became very clear:

A good moving company can make the entire experience smooth. A bad one can turn moving day into a disaster.

We've experienced the worst of it — scratched furniture, damaged items, missing valuables, and moments where memories tied to family heirlooms were simply gone forever. After enough of those experiences, the decision became obvious.
